New Favorite Mascara?

I recently received Tarte's Lights, Camera, Lashes mascara--it was in the limited edition Carried Away palette (which I am in love with). I was a bit hesitant to try the mascara, as I have never heard anything about it before. With just one stroke over my lashes, all fear disintegrated as the mascara was perfection. The length of my lashes was perfect-not too long, not to short. Don't you hate when you're lashes are so long they keep hitting your eyelid? Well, with this mascara, that doesn't happen.
Also, the volume it gave was fantastic. I hate mascaras that give all length and no volume, especially because those usually don't get along well with my eyelashes. This gives the perfect balance of length and volume.
Now, for the most important part: definition. For me, to be a decent mascara, my lashes shouldn't be clumped together. To be a good mascara, there should me no clumps, the lashes are fairly defined, and they are black. To be the perfect mascara, the lashes are more defined than when they didn't have any mascara, there are no clumps, the lashes are very dark, the definition is actually notable, and the lashes look smooth, curled, and in place. Lights, camera, lashes is the perfect mascara.
The tarte website claims that it has conditioning agents that make your lashes nicer. I haven't been using the mascara long enough to notice a difference, so I can't really judge that.
The lashes stay nice and curled all day. And that's without a curler. That's not unheard of, but it's certainly a nice addition to the mascara.
Rating:9.5/10

I took a half a point off because of the price. At $19 for one tube, it's a bit expensive. Is it worth it? Yes, but there are other nice mascaras out there for fractions of the price.
